Daniel Hirselj, MD was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Washington University in Saint Louis in 1997. After completing his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Dr. Hirselj completed his internship and residency training in Urologic Surgery at Saint Louis University Hospital. Dr. Hirselj completed his two-year fellowship training in Pediatric Urology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Hirselj is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Urological Association, the Society of Pediatric Urology, the Society of Fetal Urology, and the Oregon Medical Association.
His professional interests include laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery, hypospadias, vesicoureteral reflux, obstructive uropathy, prenatal hydronephrosis, neurogenic bladder and disorders of sexual differentiation.
Outside of work he enjoys all outdoor activities, including running and hiking, soccer, golf and cycling. He is a veteran of many marathons and triathlons, and he is a former intercollegiate soccer player.
